Stone, Tile & Carved Marble Fireplaces

Unusual patterns in marble or granite slabs, stone or ceramic tile add drama to the focal point of a living room. Mantles, pilasters and mouldings of new hardwood or salvaged antique parts can frame the stone or tile. The first slide shows a fireplace created from several antique carved marble parts combined with new carefully matched marble slabs to fit a much larger fireplace than they were originally intended for.
