Casting hard-to-replace Architectural Details
This technique can be used to reproduce or complement existing archetectural details like mouldings, rosettes, or even small bas-relief scultural items. Once moulds are made a variety of materials can be used for the finished product to match color and texture. Chris specializes in using quick setting fine grained concrete shaped with wooden molds to make details that appear carved from stone.
